<p>Willis Towers Watson has been collaborating with the Climate Governance Initiative, a global network which helps boards incorporate a climate lens into all relevant aspects of their oversight functions, by applying the World Economic Forum's Principles for Effective Climate Governance. Together, we have developed a <a href="https://www.wtwco.com/en-US/Insights/2021/11/executive-compensation-guidebook-for-climate-transition" title="Executive Compensation Guidebook for Climate Transition">guidebook</a> on how to link climate priorities with executive compensation. The guidebook presents our research findings, views of non-executive directors and investors and our latest thinking on how to incorporate climate metrics across a number of key industries.</p>
<p>To launch our research findings and guidebook, we hosted two events to accommodate different time zones – both had the same 30-minute overview presentation, followed by a one hour panel session with non-executive director and investor guest speakers.</p>
